Privacy policy
Ebbly is a logbook for vaping, smoking and drinking. This policy explains which data the app and this website process, in plain language, because there is not much to tell.
What the app stores
Everything you log (vape sessions, cigarettes, pouches, drinks, cravings, triggers, nights out, notes and your day rating) and your settings are stored in a database on your own device. We have no access to it and never see it.
The home screen widget keeps the same data on your device, in a storage area shared only between Ebbly and its widget.
No account, no sharing
Ebbly has no account, no sign-in and no sync. Nothing you log leaves your device, unless you export it yourself (CSV, PDF or a JSON backup) or share your week card through the iOS share menu. You choose where that goes.
Subscription and payments
Ebbly Pro is sold through Apple’s App Store and managed with RevenueCat. We never receive card or payment details: Apple handles those. RevenueCat receives only what it needs to confirm your purchase (an anonymous app user ID and purchase details), never anything you log. RevenueCat also uses purchase data for aggregated statistics, such as how many trials turn into subscriptions.
What we do not do
- No analytics, tracking or advertising in the app
- No selling or sharing of data with third parties
- No health advice and no automatic analysis of what you log
This website
ebbly.nl is hosted by Netlify, which keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the site. The site sets no cookies and loads nothing from other companies; even the fonts are served from ebbly.nl itself.
Your rights
You can export or delete your data in the app at any time; deleting the app removes it from your device. Under the GDPR you may also complain to your data protection authority (in the Netherlands: the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Ebbly is meant for adults (18+).
